Network Marketing Products and Services As a Means to Earning Money On Line

If you've been around network marketing for any length of time, you may be aware that alot of the big 'guru's' of the industry tell you that you should always tell people about the income opportunity first - the products/services are just a means to an end. But is this true?

Unfortunately our industry is filled with lies, half-truths and misleading statements. And this is one of those. People are brought into network marketing with promises of easy money and great wealth. But how often does that actually happen? Not very often. Only a very few people ever become wealthy, probably because most people are being taught to do it the wrong way (or not being taught at all, as often happens).

Network marketing is simply a distribution channel. When we enrol with a company as a distributor, we become part of the marketing arm of that company. But we don't have the massive overheads, huge stock requirement, or staff to employ.

Our job, therefore, is to move product or provide a service. So we need as many people as possible consuming our product. Higher product consumption equals higher pay for you!

Also, by leading with the product/service, we are doing it ethically, and not promising them the world at the same time.

If you love your products/services and believe in what you have, this is the only real way to build a truly long-term residual (recurring) income home based business.

When you lead with the products/services, your retention rate goes through the roof. People love the benefits they get and so they stick around.

If they are just looking for a way to make money, there's always another deal out there. And many of your people (usually those who are unproductive anyway) will be off when the next 'greatest thing' or big new launch comes along.

Most people are unreceptive to promises of big money, or sceptical that they can do it with a simple home based business or from a very small start up cost. And if you're not making much money yourself because you haven't been doing it long, how can you convince others that they can make it?

Not very easily.

Once you experience the benefits of the products/services you can easily tell others, and as word spreads your business (and your paycheck) will grow.

It does not matter what product or service you have stop promoting the rewards - they differ from person to person and if they fail to get those huge rewards you are promising (which more often than not are NOT in your hands to control) - then all you have achieved is a ruined reputation.

If, however, you focus on the product or service, once people see that what you are offering gives them value AND they can also benefit from it financially (great or small) then you have proved yourself as a person who is trust worthy and delivers on your promises.

I do both but that is because I am comfortable with what I am offering, why? Because they have proved themselves to me.
